The Chesterfield Kings return this Halloween with Loose Ends: 1989–2004 Rare, B-Sides & Unreleased — a ferocious collection from one of rock & roll’s most enduring underground legends.

Out October 31 via Wicked Cool Records, this anthology cracks open the vault to deliver a fuzz-drenched feast of rarities, forgotten gems, and unreleased recordings spanning the band’s wildest years.

For the first time ever, these deep cuts and obscure one-offs — many previously scattered across hard-to-find vinyl and CD pressings — are being digitally remastered and compiled into one explosive release. It’s a time capsule of pure rock swagger: stomping rhythms, snarling guitars, and that signature Kings attitude that has influenced generations of garage revivalists and true believers.

Among the treasures is one previously unreleased track: the band’s never-before-heard version of “White Christmas.” As frontman Andy Babiuk explains:

“We did a lot of obscure recordings that came out on vinyl and CDs on various labels but very few were ever printed. For the first time we’ve compiled all of these recordings and we're glad that they are finally coming out digitally remastered for everyone to check out. One unreleased track we found is a recording of the classic ‘White Christmas’ that we were asked to record for the film Christmas With The Kranks. They used the song ‘Hey Santa Claus’ that we wrote for the movie, but not ‘White Christmas’, so this is the first time that this never released Chesterfield Kings’ version of the Christmas classic can be heard!”

Featuring covers of The Kinks, The Lyres, and others, Loose Ends captures the raw energy and spirit that have always defined The Chesterfield Kings.

The Chesterfield Kings return with their explosive new single “Your Strange Love” out June 6 via Wicked Cool Records on limited edition green vinyl.

Co-written by founding King Andy Babiuk and Steven Van Zandt, the track marks another powerful collaboration between the longtime friends and rock 'n' roll purists. The single’s flip side is a cover of The Beatles' “It’s Only Love” the band’s first-ever Beatles cover in their decades-long career.

“I always like writing songs with Steven,” says Babiuk. “I had this song idea for ‘Your Strange Love’ and Stevie took the lyrics to a whole different level with a Venus in Furs vibe and had us add a tambura to give the song a more mystic feel. Stevie knows how to get the job done!”

“Your Strange Love” has already been selected as the Coolest Song in the World on Little Steven’s Underground Garage for the week of June 9—a clear nod to the track’s psychedelic atmosphere, rich textures, and gritty, melodic hooks.

On the flip side, the band tackles the Beatles’ “It’s Only Love” with reverent swagger. “Through the years we never touched a Beatles song because we always felt it was almost like sacrilegious,” says Babiuk. “But when the label asked us to record some covers, I thought, ‘fk it, let’s do a Beatles song.’ After all, they are my favorite band! This is our tribute.”

“Your Strange Love” b/w “It’s Only Love” is available June 6 on Wicked Cool Records. Limited edition green vinyl

The Chesterfield Kings classic Living Eye catalog returns on Wicked Cool Records!

"Wicked Cool Records is reissuing the long lost Chesterfield Kings recordings from the band's Living Eye Record label that the group revived in the mid-1990s. None of these works have been available officially for several decades, and will finally be made available in pristine quality. We think that Wicked Cool Records is the perfect home for the old Chesterfield Kings' catalog.”

Hard Rock and Little Steven’s Underground Garage Present:

THE WICKED COOL RECORDS REVUE!

Hard Rock and Little Steven’s Underground Garage continue their two-decade-plus partnership with The Wicked Cool Records Revue!, a traveling Rock ‘n’ Roll roadshow showcasing some of the stars from Wicked Cool Records, the groundbreaking label founded in 2007 by the legendary Stevie Van Zandt – a.k.a. Little Steven.

Like Van Zandt’s hugely influential “Little Steven’s Underground Garage” radio show, The Wicked Cool Records Revue! will showcase iconic rock ‘n’ rollers and some of the world’s most exciting new artists with performances from Slim Jim Phantom & The Wildcats, Soraia, Cocktail Slippers, and playing their first live shows in over 15 years, fabled garage rockers The Chesterfield Kings. The multi-artist package tour will kick off in Austin, TX during a full day of Rock ‘n’ Roll at the historic Continental Club, beginning with “Mojo’s Final Mayhem!” a send-off  show to legendary artist and SiriusXM Outlaw Country (Channel 62) DJ the late Mojo Nixon in the afternoon and then followed later in the evening by “The Wicked Cool Records Revue!” showcase. The tour will then make stops across the West Coast through the month, including eagerly awaited shows in Phoenix (March 19), Los Angeles (March 20), Las Vegas (March 21), and San Francisco (March 22.).

“The Wicked Cool Records Revue will give people a taste of the 20 fabulous acts on our record label,” says Stevie Van Zandt. “People know Slim Jim Phantom from the Stray Cats, but they may not have had an opportunity to see Slim Jim Phantom & The Wildcats. We’ve also got Soraia, one of our most popular bands from Philadelphia, and the fabulous Cocktail Slippers are coming all the way from Norway. I’m particularly excited about the return of the legendary Chesterfield Kings, the garage band that set the standards for all others back in the 80s. It’s their first show in 15 years and we couldn’t be more thrilled.”
